The first author of a paper must be a Student Member of the IEEE or ITSS at the time of the original submission.
The basis for Judging
Originality, Innovation, Clarity, and potential impact on the theoretical foundations or practical applications of Intelligent Transportation Systems.
Nominations must be made by the student’s major professor (advisor) through the ITS conference management system at its.papercept.net. Nominations are limited to one per advisor.
The nomination letter should include the basic information of the nominee and nominator (e.g., name, affiliation, email, phone) and the paper (paper ID and title). A section on “Justification for Nomination” should be provided, which summarizes the major contributions of the student in the submitted work, along with its originality, innovation, and potential impact. The nomination letter is limited to one page.
